Custom Body covering for Contax 137MA, MD

This is the custom kit to replace Contax 137MD coverings.

All of them are self adhesive. When you apply to your camera, you do not need glue.

This is CONTAX 137MA/MD's Light Seals foam (backdoor gasket sponge and Mirror Cushion) replace kit.

When the original light seals become old, light starts leaking and the backdoor starts rattling. This is the right time your camera needs to replace the new Light seals.

This seal kit covers the whole CONTAX 137MA/MD camera seals, as shown below.

These kits are readymade. You don't have to do anything (all cuts are already made). Just purchase it and put it straightway onto your camera.

Let's take a look at how many hours you have to spend measuring foam seal size and cutting them if you do it by yourself. (Actually, I spent 2 hours measuring data and cutting moulds).

If you are an experienced craftsman, you can see how difficult it is to cut the foam seals in the shape as shown in the above image.

STEPS FOR INSTALLING THE KIT (3 FOAM KITS ARE PROVIDED IN ONE SET)

Installing the kit on your camera is very simple. We have provided 3 foam kits in one set so you don't have to worry if you waste one or two. We are sure that you will install perfectly by the 3rd time.

1. Remove the old light seals and clean up the residue from your camera with alcohol or benzine.
2. Take out the new light seal from the base paper.
3. Use a cotton swab or paint brush to rub alcohol or water on the adhesive (sticky) side. (The alcohol or water delays the adhesion and allows you time to position and adjust the seals.)
4. Place the seals onto the narrow channel.
5. Use a flathead screwdriver to adjust the seals before the alcohol gets dry.

PLEASE BE AWARE: This kit only fits the CONTAX 137 MA/MD, and does not fit any other Contax or Yashica series cameras. (Camera is not included in this kit.)
