How to replace the covering of Contax RTS.

Please prepare,
1. disinfectant ether alcohol ... you could buy at pharmacy or drugstore. Probably, Wisky will work, too.

4. Small Flathead screwdriver

Remove original covering from the edge. You can remove easily with wetting down with alcohol on adhesive joining part.		Remove slowly.

You could find iron sheet on front side.		You can remove easily iron sheet on front left side.

Iron sheet on front right is a little difficult.		fold it little by little with using plier. Do not hurt the selftimer.

		Finally iron plate is removed.

Clean up remaining adhesive bond with cotton swab dipped alcohol.		After you cleaned up, you can start applying the new coverings.

The custom covering kit is provided like this.		Take one part and reverse it.

This is adhesive face (sticky side).		Rub alcohol on adhesive face.

Set the selftimer and slip the covering under the selftimer lever. Do not hurry. Before alcohol get dry, covering does not stick.

Apply and adjust the place from the edge.		Use flathead screwdriver, squeeze the covering under the selftimer. After that, adjust the place and press the covering against the camera body.

The next is front right part. Remove the covering and reverse.		Reverse like this.

Rub alcohol on adhesive face.		This part is easy to apply.

Adjust the place like the photo above.		Adjust the edge and apply.

You just finished the front parts.		The last one. Remove the covering and reverse.

Rub alcohol on adhesive face.		Start to apply from the edge.

Just apply along the edge,		Done.
