How to replace the FX-3 covering

Please prepare following items.

disinfectant ether alcohol : You could buy at Pharmacy or Drugstore. or you can use Benzine, Zippo lighter oil instead of alcohol.
Cotton Swab


It is easy to remove the original FX-3 skin, but if it is sticky, you can pour a little alcohol into the adhesive like the photo above.


1. If you have Rubber cement (bond), I recommend to rub the edge part, like the photo above. It will strengthen the edges.		2. Rub rubber cement and dry it well. If you do not have rubber cement. Do not care.


3. The difficult part is installing selftimer part. You need a little technique Take the covering (selftimer part) out from the base paper and reverse it.		2. Rub alcohol with cotton swab on the tape side (sticky side).

3. Start applying.		4. Slide the covering under the selftimer while the alcohol wet. The alcohol delays the adhesion and allows you time to position and adjust the skin before alcohol gets dry.

5.Adjust and position the covering before the alcohol get dry.		6. Other parts is not difficult, just apply.
